We are working to develop a new contrast-enhanced imaging modality for ultrasound imaging: magnetomotive ultrasound (MMUS). Using magnetic nanoparticles as a contrast agent, we hope to develop this technique for a variety of molecular and biomedical imaging applications. Our current work is focused on blood clot imaging.
At the same time, we’re also working hard to find ways of bringing topics and applications from medical imaging physics into the introductory and upper-level physics classroom. Click the buttons below to learn more.
