Hello there!

My name is Ben, and I’m a visiting assistant professor of physics at Davidson College in North Carolina. I am a passionate teacher, and I enjoy getting students talking, writing, and collaborating as a means to a rigorous physics education. My research focuses on a new type of targeted magnetic contrast imaging called “Magnetomotive Ultrasound.” I recently received my Ph.D. from The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where I studied medical imaging physics in Professor Amy Oldenburg’s Coherence Imaging Lab. When not doing physics, you can find me running and exploring the great outdoors!
