As the term wraps up, research students Juancho Pérez Góngora, Ben Atherton, and Chris Piatnichouk presented their research.
Juancho successfully defended his honors thesis titled Incorporating Joule Heating in a Finite Element Analysis Model for Magnetomotive Ultrasound Magnet Design in a departmental colloquium on May 7. The next day, Ben and Chris showed off their poster on Enhanced Force Output in Magnetomotive Ultrasound via Novel Magnet Core Design at the Verna Miller Case Research and Creative Works symposium.
