Hello there!
My name is Ben, and I’m a visiting assistant professor of physics at Davidson College in North Carolina. In the Fall of 2025, I will be joining Lafayette College as an assistant professor of physics. I am a passionate teacher, and I enjoy getting students talking, writing, and collaborating as a means to a rigorous physics education. My research focuses on a new type of targeted magnetic contrast imaging called “Magnetomotive Ultrasound,” which I am developing toward the goal of quantitative blood clot elastometry. I am always excited to mentor undergraduates in my lab, so reach out if you’re interested! When not doing physics, you can find me running and exploring the great outdoors.
